“Still Stitching" with Susan and Sally

At the Gilchrist County Women’s Club 819 SE County RD 339 in Trenton, Florida.

We’re going back to this good location for one of our exclusive needlework retreats! We will bring you a needlework experience not to be forgotten. It will be full of learning, fellowship and giggles!

Friday evening is the welcome and you will begin stitching!

Saturday begins with more stitching the lovely design Susan has created to fit into the bottom of the discontinued Longaberger basket. You’ll work on 27 and 30 thread fabrics, rich cream and a delicate peach color. Threads are over-dyed perle and floss, with a weaving of silk ribbon added. PLUS, a VERY MOST SPECIAL mother of pearl buckle, from the late 1800's, that came direct from London at the button shop the royalty use!You will have a touch of hardanger, Italian hem work, pulled work, dimensional stitching and all of it is finished with the elegant needle flap that lifts up for a special place to slip your scissors in.

More stitching on Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening brings another gathering.

Sunday, stitch until noon, with fond farewells until we meet again!!
